"Po Wu" Day, named because many of the taboos during the New Year period can be lifted on this day. An important custom is to send away poverty by cleaning the house thoroughly, symbolizing sending poverty out the door. The fifth day is also the birthday of the Five Gods of Wealth. Some believe that worshiping the God of Wealth on this day brings more blessings, so some shops and companies choose this day to open or start operations.

According to Song Dynasty's Chen Yuanliang's "Suishi Guangji" citing "Wenzong Beiweng": "During the reign of Zhuanxu Gaoxin, a son was born in the palace without proper clothing, and the palace called him the poor child. Later, he died on the last day of the first lunar month, and the palace buried him, saying, 'Today we send off the poor child.' This tradition has been passed down to today's "Sending Away Poverty" on the sixth day of the Lunar New Year. The sixth day is also Fertilizer Day, indicating that traditional farming households begin spring plowing on this day.

Initiated by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in 2000, it aims to raise global awareness of cancer, promote cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. Events are held worldwide to encourage public attention to cancer prevention and control, support cancer patients and their families, and promote international efforts in the fight against cancer.

"Ren Ri" or "Day of Humanity", also known as "Qiyuan". According to the "Divination Book", from the first day, the order of creation by heaven was "one chicken, two dogs, three pigs, four sheep, five cows, six horses, seven humans, eight grains". It is said that if the weather is good on this day, it signifies people's well-being; if it is rainy and cloudy, it brings illness and plagues. Many activities are unsuitable on this day, especially avoiding traveling far.

Birthday of the Jade Emperor, commonly known as "Tian Gong's Birthday". On his birthday, people hold ceremonies to celebrate, and from midnight, the sound of continuous firecrackers can be heard. Many believers visit the Tian Gong Temple, dedicated to the Jade Emperor, to pray for good weather, peace, and health in the new year.

2/6 Tenth Day of the Lunar New Year

The tenth day is also the day after the Jade Emperor's birthday. Every household still has abundant dishes left from the ceremonies, allowing them to eat to their heart's content, hence the saying "Tenth Day Has a Feast".
